Michael Wood is a highly successful programme-maker and the creative force behind huge television hits like Wheeler Dealers (global audience 200 million, Discovery). With an established reputation in factual entertainment he has devised series for Discovery, Channel Four, ITV, Channel 5 and UKTV.

In addition to his development credits Michael is in demand as an experienced director, producer and show runner. Michael is a TV creative who comes from a journalistic background. He began his career as a freelance journalist working for titles such as GQ, The Independent and The Telegraph. He understands stories and how to tell them.

As a director his hallmark is stylish sequence shooting. Michael is an experienced professional, practical and down-to-earth. He consistently delivers programmes full of personality, scripts which surprise, and images which stay in the mind.
